Fire Tube Innovation up to 5.0 Million BTU

Lochinvar® has taken the fire-tube concept in an innovative new direction with the CREST® modulating-condensing boiler. With sizes that range from 1.5 to 5.0 million Btu/hr, you have the opportunity to utilize Lochinvar leading-edge technology in your largest applications. With thermal efficiencies up to 99% in low water temperature applications, CREST is positioned to provide exceptional energy-saving performance.

The advanced CREST introduces a combustion system with a unique burner design with up to 25:1 turndown. The burner fires into an array of 316L stainless steel fire-tubes that transfer the heat to the surrounding water with exceptionally high efficiency.

CREST communicates seamlessly and in real time with building management systems by utilizing an on-board MODBUS protocol. The SMART TOUCH™ control has a built-in cascading component that communicates with up to eight units, providing total command without an external control or complex and expensive control logic programming by the BMS integrator.

Through microprocessor technology the fields of the motor are provided the precise frequency and voltage for optimum performance. A permanent magnet motor eliminates the requirement for input power to magnetize the rotor, thus maximizing efficiency. This unique design offers superior starting torque when compared with standard induction motor type circulators.

Simplicity – The only moving part is the rotor/impeller unit. The shaft, shaft seals and conventional bearing bushings have been eliminated.

Control Modes

  • auto: The ecocirc® auto has a proportional pressure control, which automatically adjusts the pump performance continuously and automatically to the requirements of the heating system. When the zone or thermostatic valve closes, the pump performance is reduced to save energy and to avoid velocity noise in the system.
  • vario: The ecocirc® vario allows for step-less speed control to set the pump performance to meet individual system requirements.

Greenheck's Vektor®--H is a self-contained and cost-effective solution that is superior to field built-up fan and stack assemblies. The Vektor®-H uses a belt-driven tubular centrifugal fan with an efficient nozzle design to safely propel fumes away from the building. Fan housings include an oversized access door that allows for ease of maintenance for interior fan components. All Vektor®-H systems are designed to withstand 125 mph windloads without the use of guide wires, and are available as single, double or triple fan systems.
